PROPAGANDA OF TRANSGENDERISM IS PROPOSED TO BE BANNED IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
The corresponding proposal was received from the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan Irina Volynets. At the same time, the Ombudsman does not specify in which areas and how restrictions should be introduced, saying only that a ban should be introduced both with regard to propaganda among children and adults.

As motives, Volynets cites statements about the harm of such propaganda for the moral health of the nation. It is worth noting that this position is consistent with the legislative initiative previously submitted to the State Duma to ban propaganda of non-traditional relations.

It is also noteworthy that a similar law was adopted a year ago in Hungary.

Thus, according to the document, a ban on advertisers and media organizations promoting homosexuality or transgender rights in any content accessible to children has been introduced at the legislative level.

Following Hungary, Romania amended the law in May this year, according to which LGBTQ+ propaganda in schools for the purpose of protecting children's rights is prohibited.
