Regional ombudsmen for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs supported the introduction of ‘covid-free’ shops, pharmacies and shopping centers. It is assumed that this will speed up the process of vaccination of the population.
According to TASS, business ombudsmen consider this idea promising. However, it is noted that the creation of a ‘covid-free’ zones will speed up vaccination, provided there are sufficient doses of vaccinations.
From June 28, it is possible to visit catering establishments of Moscow only with QR codes.
The code can be received by citizens who have been vaccinated, as well as those who have had Covid-19 no more than six months ago or have a fresh PCR test (no older than three days). When visiting catering establishments, you must present a QR code.
Earlier, the government of Moscow has already noted that there is a possibility of expanding QR codes to other regions. In particular, restrictions may be applied to public transport and shops.
The business ombudsman of Bashkortostan, Flyur Asadullin, also spoke out for the introduction of ‘covid-free’ zones in shops, hotels and shopping centers. He noted that the authorities should compensate for the costs of business. In addition, people really need grocery stores, which will seriously speed up the vaccination process - 60% of the vaccinated can be obtained in just 2 weeks.
