NON-SMOKING RUSSIANS MAY BE PROVIDED WITH EXTENDED VACATION
The representative of the Public Chamber, Sultan Khamzayev, came up with an initiative, according to which non-smoking Russians should receive an annual leave of 10 days more.
A letter with a proposal has already been sent to the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. According to RT, the substantiation of the idea says that smoking people spend about 60 minutes of working time daily on a bad habit. It turns out that they smoke for about 20 working days in a calendar year.
At the same time, the costs for smoking employees are borne by the employers and the state.
Khamzaev proposes to amend the Labor Code, according to which non-smoking workers can count on 10 additional vacation days. He believes that this measure will also be a positive motivation for smoking citizens in the fight against addiction.
Earlier, Sultan Khamzayev came up with an initiative implying an increase in vacation from 28 to 35 days for those who travel to Russian resorts. Thus, it was proposed to get more funds for the development of tourist regions of the Russian Federation.
