The Ministry of Communications has come up with an initiative, according to which the potential patients with coronavirus should be monitored by geolocation system. The draft order has already been prepared.
According to the proposal, data with the phone numbers of people diagnosed with the virus will be transmitted to the system of the Ministry of Health. The system, in turn, will determine the list of people who were in the same geolocation with patients over the past 14 days.
It is noted that we are talking about contacts lasting more than 5 minutes.
The data on these persons will be further transmitted to the Russian operation headquarters. It is assumed that the system will help to control the observance of quarantine by people for whom the mandatory self-isolation is prescribed. Departments will be able to keep track of their location within 24 hours.
If a potentially dangerous citizen violates the order, the system will record the time and boundaries of each violation - the information will go to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and to the Federal National Guard Troops Service.
