FINES FOR TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS FOR MOBILIZED CAN BE CANCELED
FINES FOR TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS FOR MOBILIZED CAN BE CANCELED
This conclusion follows from the draft resolution on the declaration of amnesty submitted to the State Duma earlier this week.
The document proposes to cancel all fines imposed and to stop administrative proceedings against citizens called up for military service on mobilization.
As a justification, the authors of the bill cite the idea that in the current conditions, the time interval between a person receiving a summons and his departure for mobilization fees is small. Therefore, a citizen simply does not have the opportunity to pay the existing fines.
The authors of the project are deputies from the New People party. The date of consideration of the document has not yet been set, so at the moment it is too early to say whether it will be adopted, and, if it does, whether the state will expand support measures in terms of the abolition of fines for other types of offenses.
