FEDERAL TOURISM AGENCY PROPOSES TO LOOSE THE RESTRICTIONS IN KRASNODAR REGION FROM AUGUST 1

The Federal Tourism Agency supported the preservation of the possibility of visiting the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory in the presence of a negative test for Covid-19. So far, it is assumed that from August 1, only vaccinated Russians will be able to visit the region.

It became known that the Federal Tourism Agency appealed to the authorities of the Krasnodar Territory with a request to continue receiving non-vaccinated tourists after August 1 provided they have a recently passed negative PCR test. The head of the Federal Tourism Agency Zarina Doguzova personally addressed the head of the region with a proposal to consider such an opportunity.

The agency believes that a negative test for Covid-19, coupled with the fulfillment of the necessary epidemiological standards, will ensure a safe vacation.

The Federal Tourism Agency stressed out that Russians need to be given the opportunity to travel safely, and businesses - to stay afloat. It is noted that the situation with Covid-19 in the Krasnodar Territory is developing unevenly, and different measures are required to contain the incidence in different places. The agency believes that the tourist season should continue, but taking into account safety measures in a situation of pandemic.

At the same time, the agency stressed out that they recommend that Russians get vaccinated if they have no medical contraindications. We should recall that earlier, the governor of the Krasnodar Territory announced the introduction of restrictions in the region - from July 1, tourists will be able to check into hotels if they have a certificate of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. From August 1, staying on the territory of the region will only be possible for vaccinated citizens.
