DUTY FREE MAY START SELLING ALCOHOL ON DOMESTIC FLIGHTS
The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation has proposed to allow retail stores at airports to sell alcohol to passengers of domestic flights in Russia. This is reported by the press service of the department.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the initiative will support international trade operators and Duty Free store owners in the current economic conditions.
As of today, it is impossible to buy alcohol on flights across Russia. Duty Free stores are closed to passengers on domestic flights.
