Dmitry Morozov, the head of the Duma's health protection committee, stated that there was an urgent need for the introduction of covid passports in the country. This will help the health care system, as well as have a beneficial effect on making forecasts for morbidity.
Morozov made this statement at the committee meeting. He noted that covid passports were an important and necessary initiative, since it is necessary for doctors, sanitary and epidemiological service. The official also added that the new document would make it possible to introduce more competent management and organizational decisions.
Morozov noted that the information of covid passports should be under strict control,as it is necessary to protect personal data.
We should recall that Bashkiria introduces covid passports on February 5. The document will be issued to people who have been vaccinated or have antibodies after having an illness. It is assumed that the "passport" will look like a QR code sent to the State Services portal to residents of the republic who meet the specified criteria. At the same time, it is noted that the covid passport cannot be valid for more than 3 months for citizens with antibodies.
Vladimir Putin also raised the issue of developing documents that could be issued to those who had been ill. The government must develop an idea of anti-covid certificates by January 20 - it is assumed that Russian citizens will be able to show them when crossing borders.
