The parliamentarians proposed to supplement the list of families eligible for payment with families with many children (three or more children) in regions with a low birth rate.
It is proposed to amend the law N 256-FZ which regulates the measures of state support. If the bill is adopted, the third article of the Federal Law may be supplemented with provisions stating that women who have given birth to a third child might gain the right to receive payment. What is more, women who have given a birth to fourth child will be able to count on the privilege in a situation if they have not previously used maternity capital. In both cases, the right arises at the birth or adoption of a child from the beginning of the next year.
In addition, men, who became the only adoptive parents of a third or subsequent children and did not use state support measures before appeared in the bill. At the same time, the fact of adoption should also take place not earlier than in the beginning of 2022.
The amount of the proposed payment for these categories of citizens will amount to over 500 thousand rubles. The entry of the document into force is also proposed on January 1 next year.
