A “JUST RUSSIA” PARTY PROPOSED TO ELIMINATE THE PENSION FUND

Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation revealed a number of systemic errors based on the results of the audit of the Pension Fund, due to which Russian pensioners receive less rates of pensions than they are entitled to.

Among the violations there were the openings of several accounts for one citizen, as well as the assignments of one SNILS (individual insurance account number) to several citizens at once.

After reading the report, the deputy Sergei Mironov expressed his sharply negative attitude to the work of the Pension Fund.

According to the parliamentarian, the fund should be eliminated, since there is no need for its mediation between the country's budget and the citizens. Mironov noted that the most terrible thing is the fact that the citizens who are the least protected from a social point of view suffer most because of such a poor-quality work.

The deputy noted that there was no need to pay for the expensive base of the Pension Fund if such significant errors are revealed during its work. In case of abandoning the project, Mironov sees the possibility of using the working database of the inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service.
