WIRE PRODUCING PLANT WENT BANKRUPT IN ORYOL

The Arbitration Court of the Oryol Region made a decision to declare the insolvency of Prommetiz Rus LLC.  The company is engaged in the production of wire.  The day before, a bankruptcy procedure was introduced against the company, and a bankruptcy trustee was appointed.

Tax inspectorate acted as the initiator of the bankruptcy process, the debt to which exceeded 8 million rubles. Among the grounds for collection of funds, there were both property tax for 2019 and a number of insurance premiums for 2020.

Six months ago, the court introduced a monitoring procedure, but the company failed to get out of financial trouble.

At the moment, there are 10 companies in the register of creditor claims, among which Moscow Industrial Bank PJSC is listed. The debt to it amounts to 2.4 billion rubles and is secured by collateral. At the same time, the credit institution itself is currently in the process of reorganization.

It is worth noting that last year was rich in lawsuits against the debtor. Creditors sought to file claims one after another, possibly with the aim of subsequent inclusion in the register of creditors’ claims.

Bankruptcy proceedings will be carried out within six months, and a meeting on its results has already been scheduled for the end of August.
