THIS DAY IN HISTORY:
21 November 1970 The beginning of Euromaidan, a months-long protest action in Kiev.1970 The Tax service of Russia was separated from the Ministry of Finance by the decree of B. Yeltsin.1970 The Britannic, the twin ship of the Titanic, sank after hitting a German mine.
The Krasnodar arbitration Court ruled on the bankruptcy of the Russian House company, which operated hotel complexes in Crimea and Sochi (case no. A32-11220/2023). The company's debt in the amount of 31,645,771.43 rubles was included in the register of claims.
Given the size of the debt and the scope of the organization's activities, experts suggest that the company may still resume its activities if its management decides to close the debt.
The Russian House has been operating in the south of the Russian Federation since 2012. The firm managed hotel complexes, including designing several dozen construction projects in Europe and Russia. The owner of the business, according to information from open sources, is Maria Uvarova. A company with an authorized capital of 10 thousand received about 24 million rubles of profit last year.
Experts call the Sochi Bridge Resort hotel, which was under the management of the Russian House for several years (2012-2015), the most famous project of the company. On the territory of Crimea, the company operated two hotels and a spa hotel "Verkhovokov". In Sochi, the organization manages the ethnographic center "My Russia", the Sport Inn sports hotel and other hospitality complexes.
It is not known what factors played the main role in the fact that the company was insolvent. Last year, Mosenergo PJSC took the initiative to declare the Russian House insolvent.
The cause of the litigation was lease agreements signed in 2016-2017. A boarding house in Sochi, including 16 cottages, was leased to the company for a five-year period (until the end of January 2021). It turned out that since April 2020, the tenant has stopped paying out on contracts. Utilities (electricity and water supply) were not paid.
Creditors decided that the company should be declared bankrupt back in April 2024. The court found that the organization does not have assets that allow it to finance court costs and bankruptcy proceedings. Since the applicant, represented by Mosenergo, agreed to finance the costs of the case, the court declared the company bankrupt, without requiring financial funds to be deposited in the court deposit. Vladislav Nazarov, representing NP SRO AU Razvitie, was approved as the bankruptcy trustee.
