THE FORMER BENEFICIARY OF MOSURALBANK WENT BANKRUPT
Vadim Litvinov, the ex-beneficiary of Mosuralbank, was declared bankrupt in court. A sale procedure has been introduced with respect to his property (case No. 103538/2022).

Litvinov was previously held vicariously liable for the debts of Mosuralbank at the request of the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) (case no. A40-163705/2018). At the moment, Litvinov's debt to the DIA amounts to 68.5 million rubles, he is included in the register of creditors' claims. The Deposit Insurance Agency also appealed to the court with a demand to recover another 2.1 billion rubles from Litvinov.

The Central Bank revoked Mosuralbank's license in 2018, revealing signs of withdrawal of funds through lending to legal entities that are obviously unable to fulfill their obligations. The bank was declared bankrupt and bankruptcy proceedings were opened against it. The Deposit Insurance Agency found that CDL issued technical loans, as well as replaced liquid property with illiquid rights.
