THE APPEAL UPHELD THE VERDICT ON THE BANKRUPTCY OF THE EX-HEAD OF AVA-TRADE
Leonid Arapov, who led the activities of AVA-Trade from 2014 to 2022, failed to appeal the verdict of the court that declared him bankrupt. The appeal (19th AAC) considered the complaint of the "aluminum king" and upheld the decision of the court of first instance (case no. A14-23573/2022).

At the beginning of October 2023, Rusbankrot already reported on the entrepreneur's second appeal with a complaint to the 19th AAS. In the first case, formal violations were committed. Arapov failed to complain. The court eventually accepted the second petition, scheduling a meeting for October 20.
Arapov tried to obtain interim measures against his financial manager. He did not want the manager to remove from management the heads of several controlled enterprises ("AL5" and "AL5 Holding"). In one of them, this is Vyacheslav Falkovsky. However, Arapov did not find mutual understanding with the court, despite the fact that he owns only a 4.5% stake in AL5.
In August, it was reported that the court declared Arapov insolvent on the claim of the Avangard battery. In the spring of 2023, its assets were restructured. It was Falkovsky who became the legal successor of the bank, having received the right to claim the assignment. He tried to appeal the verdict of the court that declared Arapov bankrupt, but was refused in all instances.
At the moment, Arapov continues to be under house arrest. The investigating authorities suspect him of major fraud. The case of the entrepreneur is considered by the Tagansky Court of Moscow. He himself does not recognize the facts of criminal activity.
