THE 'SKYTHIAN' HANDBALL CLUB IS ON THE VERGE OF LIQUIDATION
The ‘Skythian’ sports club from Krasnodar, which has existed since 1963, found itself in a difficult financial situation. The leadership of the organization was forced to send a message to the RFH (Russian Federation of Handball) and personally to its president, Sergei Shishkarev, asking for financial assistance. Otherwise, said the head Yuri Sadovsky, the club could face liquidation.
According to the ‘Mutko is Against’ Telegram channel, the club's debts for mandatory payments to the state treasury and for salaries have reached 10 million rubles. At the same time, the club currently has no sources of income. The opportunity to take part in the season for existing players is also in question.
A similar situation, experts say, has arisen before. In 2020, financial problems were solved by receiving help from the leadership of the Kuban and from the RFH.

He said that the federation had already sent an appeal to the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratyev. Although the previous appeal from the side of the ‘Skythian’ club itself to the officials of the regional ministry of sports did not give positive results.
