THE SARATOV DEVELOPER WILL BANKRUPT THE FIRM CONNECTED WITH THE DEPUTY VOROBYOV

On March 13, Kronverk (SZ GC), the beneficiary of which is Alexander Schmidt, filed a bankruptcy claim with the Saratov arbitration court. The defendant is a former partner represented by SZ Mezhregionstroy (case no. A57-6127/2023). The amount of the claims is more than 36.9 million rubles.

Since October 2022, three companies planned to declare the company bankrupt at once, but in the end all creditors refused the claims. On March 6, the bankruptcy case was closed. It took only a week for Mezhregionstroy to wait for a new insolvency claim.

Earlier, Kronverk was in litigation with Mezhregionstroy over a lawsuit filed in June 2022 (case no. A57-15944/2022). In addition to the principal debt, the claims included the payment of a penalty. The basis for the process was a contract agreement that specialized developers signed in August 2021. As a result, the construction of the infectious diseases hospital, which the organizations were engaged in, turned into financial claims and comments on the shortcomings of the work on the part of the regional UKS (capital construction management).

The Mezhregionstroy plant is located in the city of Engels. The firm is associated with Deputy Andrey Vorobyov, who was previously its executive director. In the region, the company is known for its participation in national projects worth billions of rubles. Among the most scandalous contracts related to the company's participation, the media include the construction of a swimming pool in Perelub and the construction of a new infectious diseases hospital.

The company is still managing to get away from claims from the UKC. The authorities tried to force the organization to eliminate violations found after the construction of a school swimming pool in Samoylovka. However, they failed to prove their case in court. Mezhregionstroy submitted acceptance certificates, in which representatives of the UKS did not indicate the presence of any complaints. A similar lawsuit with the prosecutor's office related to work on another pool (in Turks) has not yet been completed.

In 2023, 15 applications were submitted to the arbitration court containing requirements for Mezhregionstroy. The claims include different amounts: 377.5 thousand (IE Alexey Butuzov), 1.8 million (Alma-Stroy), 2.8 million (SarmetInvest), 3.3 million (TMK SaratovStroyKomplekt), 6.4 million (Glavkhoztorg).

If the bankruptcy process initiated by Kronverk is given a course, the corresponding claims may be filed by the plaintiffs for inclusion in the debt register. Moreover, two firms ("Innovations in Law" and "Elektropromsbyt"), which had previously withdrawn their claims, again filed petitions to join the case.
