As reported by the Arbitration Tribunal of Republic of Bashkiria, the first quarter of this year became a record for the republic in terms of the number of citizens declared bankrupt.
In three months, 1,062 trials were completed, and in 952 cases the assets of insolvent citizens were fully realized. In 2020, 665 cases were completed, and the sale of property was completed in 580 cases of bankruptcy.
In the same period in 2021, the court received 2,066 lawsuits from individual entrepreneurs and citizens wishing to go bankrupt. According to experts, this is 61.8% more than the number of applications filed in January-March 2020.
If we look at the data of the previous year, we will see that even then the growth in the number of individuals declared bankrupt was 72% more than the data of the first quarter of 2019.

Credit organizations, according to experts, continue to actively issue consumer loans to citizens, thereby increasing the volume of banking operations, but at the same time neglecting the quality characteristics of borrowers. There is a situation in which the credit risks of some people are covered by new loans taken by others.
