The Arbitration Court of the Volga-Vyatka district at the end of July considered the cassation appeal of the former member of the board of directors of the distillery "Crystal-Lefortovo" Tatiana Kuznetsova. Earlier, subsidiary liability was imposed on her and the ex-head of the enterprise Vyacheslav Shuvalov.


In November 2022, the arbitration of Mordovia granted a petition from the "Wine Trading House of St. Petersburg" and the bankruptcy trustee of the distillery "Crystal-Lefortovo" Sergey Khalturin. The court brought Shuvalov and Kuznetsov to the subsidiary as persons who controlled the activities of the bankrupt organization (case no. A39-5665/2018). In April 2023, the verdict of the court withstood the appeal (The First Arbitration Court of Appeal issued a ruling on April 17 ).

Shuvalov and Kuznetsova filed a cassation complaint with the arbitration of the Volga-Vyatka District. As a result, the acts of two judicial instances against Kuznetsova were canceled The related lawsuit was sent to the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Mordovia for reconsideration. The court dismissed Shuvalov's complaint.

Recall that the company located in Saransk was one of the companies that were part of the Kristall-Lefortovo vodka holding. Its main beneficiary Pavel Smetana received the status of bankrupt in December 2019, and was subsequently put on the wanted list.

The distillery in Saransk, whose revenue in 2016 amounted to 6.7 billion rubles, turned out to be insolvent by May 2019. The amount of the company's debt to creditors exceeded 3.3 billion.

The court of first instance earlier drew attention to the actions of Smetana, Shuvalov and Kuznetsova, which caused the Distillery to show signs of bankruptcy. 961.9 million rubles were withdrawn from the bankrupt enterprise, which did not pay off its debts to independent creditors.
