THE COURT HAS LAUNCHED THE BANKRUPTCY PROCEEDINGS OF "KUPINSKOE ICE CREAM" COMPANY

The Commercial Court of the Novosibirsk region made a decision to introduce supervision of the Kupinskoe Ice Cream LLC. One of the main initiators of the lawsuit was VTB Bank, which had already threatened to bankrupt the company back in December 2019.

Previously, “Rusbankrot” wrote about the complex ownership structure of the enterprise, which has two legal entities with the same name located under one roof.

This time, the bankruptcy proceedings for one of them risk to be ended up with an affirmative verdict. It is known that the observation will last until January 21, 2021. Oleg Babkin, representing the Moscow SRO, will become the interim manager.

The bank had accumulated the financial claims to the company for almost 278 million rubles, which were included in the register.

According to experts, the reason for the bankruptcy of the company may be the financial position of its main owner and the terms of the loan agreement concluded with the bank. Three years before, the company's revenue reached 417 million rubles, and the profit exceeded 10 million.

It is known that Kupinskoe Ice Cream is a subsidiary of The Crown Trading (its hare is 65%). The company turned out to be bankrupt, which was achieved by the Eurostroy Group and VTB Factoring back in 2017. The court declared the company insolvent in 2018. There was a contractual relationship between The Crown Trading and VTB, in which the bank issued loans secured by equipment.

Now, apparently, it has come down to the subsidiary located in the Novosibirsk region.

And although the specific details of the case have not been disclosed yet, there is reason to believe that by such an action, Kupinskoe Ice Cream is being prepared for liquidation through bankruptcy. The company was excluded from the Unified State Register of the Legal Entities back in April this year.
