THE BANKRUPTCY OF ORGANIC-PHARMACY MAY HIT THE FINANCES OF THE PHARMACY GROUP A.V.E

Pharmaceutical distributor "Organic-Pharmasi" came under the surveillance procedure. The decision on this was made by the metropolitan arbitration court on the claim of the company "Castelo", which filed claims for 4.7 million rubles.

According to the interim manager, the responsible persons in the organization still did not want to get in touch. In the register of creditors, nine more creditors were added to Castelo, including A.V.e.

Considering that until recently the pharmaceutical distributor was part of the pharmacy holding A.V.e, experts talk about the debt burden and risks of the owners of the pharmacy chain Vladimir Kintsurashvili and Ivan Saganelidze.

Until 2018, both entrepreneurs were co-owners of the pharmacy chain "36,6". After they left the company, the pharmacy chain A.V.e appeared in Moscow.

It was "Organic-Pharmacy" that was its basic distributor. Its revenue for 2021 amounted to more than 2 billion.

At the same time, numerous financial claims from counterparties appeared to the distributor. Several dozen lawsuits were filed against the company in 2021, and the total amount of claims exceeded 100 million. In 2022, the number of lawsuits has increased. However, at the end of 2021, the composition of the founders of the company changed and the owners of A.V.E. left the number of owners.

Whether real beneficiaries will be able to escape from intrusive creditors in this way is not an easy question. There is a chance that the latter will want to bring former managers to subsidiary responsibility, despite the formal change of owners.

Now the pharmacy license is issued to the company "A.V.e", which operates a retail network in the capital and the Moscow region. At the same time, according to RNC Pharma analytics, instead of 41 pharmacies operating at the beginning of 2022, the network has only 16 pharmacies, and orders are accepted only in 13 outlets.
