An entrepreneur living in the Minusinsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory turned out to be a suspect in the bankruptcy of his own business. The company, which operated in the road transport market, owed 96 million rubles and was declared insolvent in November 2019.
According to law enforcement agencies, by this time the owner of the company had tried to withdraw a significant part of the assets through fictitious contracts with relatives and controlled persons.
The regional press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reports that his own mother could provide active "assistance" in the withdrawal of assets to the businessman.
First, he signed a fictitious loan contract with his mother for 8 million rubles. At the same time, the company lost at least 18 million rubles. Then the entrepreneur concluded a real estate purchase and sale deal with her. The result was the transfer of a land plot of more than 32 thousand square meters into the ownership of a woman for 1.2 million rubles, although the cadastral valuation of the plot was 8 million rubles.
The investigation also accuses the businessman of contracts for the transfer of six vehicles. Before that, they were on the balance sheet of an enterprise engaged in road transportation.
The investigation is not over yet. Now the entrepreneur is charged with Article 196 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. If proven guilty, he could be sentenced to six years in prison. This is the term for this crime provided for by criminal law.
