SAMARA CONSTRUCTION COMPANY DECLARED BANKRUPT
On September 9, 2024, the arbitration court ruled on the bankruptcy case of Belstroy (case no. A55-7891/2024). The company, which had recently received large contracts from regional government agencies, was declared insolvent.
The company was established in 2011. Its sole owner is Vadim Belogortsev. By 2022, the company has concluded about 60 state contracts worth 3.5 billion rubles. The company actively participated in tenders for the construction of social institutions.
In Samara, Belstroy undertook the construction of a swimming pool for 329 million, and in Zhigulevsk, the organization received a tender for the construction of a kindergarten designed for 240 places. In 2020, this contract for 264 million rubles became the reason for a criminal trial related to embezzlement of budget funds. It turned out that the director committed fraud in connection with defects in construction, although all the acts were signed. In 2021, the head of the company was conditionally sentenced to a two-year term and the payment of 187 thousand fine.
In 2023, the organization suffered about 20.3 million in losses, while receiving 274.9 million in revenue. And already in 2024, it was included in the register of unscrupulous suppliers. The reason for this was the failure of the contract agreement in the southern Urals.
It was assumed that the result of the work would be an indoor sports rink of the Ural State University of Physical Education. However, the company failed and in March 2024 the contract with it was terminated. During all this time, only 13% of the works worth 73.6 million rubles were completed. At the same time, the amount of the advance received under the agreement amounted to 163.8 million.
As experts suggest, the company does not actually have any property left. In 2022, the New Construction Technologies Company (formerly Belstroy–New Technologies) was separated from the company. Since last year, this company has been developing a large tender for the reconstruction of an irrigation system in the Marksovsky district of the Saratov region. The contract value is 850 million rubles.
