PRIMORYE BANK WANTS TO BANKRUPT A WELL-KNOWN ENTREPRENEUR IN VLADIVOSTOK
PRIMORYE BANK WANTS TO BANKRUPT A WELL-KNOWN ENTREPRENEUR IN VLADIVOSTOK
Joint-stock commercial bank Primorye, which is owned by the wife of the ex-governor of Primorsky Krai, plans to apply to arbitration to initiate bankruptcy proceedings against a well-known businessman in the region Rodion Tikhonov (INN 344831254742). At the moment, he controls several organizations engaged in foreign economic activity. This became known from a message on Fedresource.
Rodion Tikhonov is widely known in Vladivostok business circles. One of his companies is Dalzavod-Terminal. A few years ago, this company was at the center of a scandal. The businessman was detained, suspecting that he was evading customs duties. Tikhonov was threatened with charges of forming a criminal community, but he declared his desire to help the investigation and was released. The entrepreneur reimbursed the damage caused to the state.
In the process of carrying out investigative actions, Sergei Fedorov, Deputy head of the Far Eastern Customs Service, was detained. He was charged with taking bribes. It was assumed that Fyodorov would patronize the business for the money received from Tikhonov.
As a result of the trial, the official was found guilty. The court sentenced the former deputy head of the regional customs to a 12-year term, fining over 103 million rubles. This decision was upheld in cassation in 2022.
Meanwhile, the Primorsky Territory Tax Service also intends to introduce bankruptcy proceedings against Dalzavod-Terminal by filing a corresponding application to the court in the spring of 2024. The case has not yet begun.
It is worth noting that the Central Bank of the Russian Federation previously allowed not to disclose information about the owners of shares of a number of banks. Before that, it was known that the main shareholder of Primorye was Larisa Belobrova, the wife of the ex–head of the region, Sergei Darkin.
