ORACLE IS UNDER SURVEILLANCE. THE STRUCTURE OF A WELL- KNOWN MANUFACTURER WILL BE BANKRUPTED

Oracle Computer Equipment Company ("OKO") has started bankruptcy proceedings. The arbitration of the capital introduced surveillance on the initiative of Kroc Incorporated, to which the "daughter" of the American corporation owed 48 million rubles.

In December 2022, Rusbankrot wrote about the debt of OKO for spare parts, the delivery of which was disrupted. In June last year, the firm applied to arbitration with the intention of collecting a large sum from the defendant. As a result, already in November, the court upheld Krok's claims, indicating an obligation to pay a large sum to the service partner. The main part of the debt (more than 47 million) was an advance, which the Russian division of Oracle received in August 2021.

Earlier, the mobile operator Megafon announced its desire to recognize OKO as bankrupt. He also has an arbitration court decision to recover over 44 million from a former partner. The amount was intended to pay for technical support services for software and computer equipment.

Among the candidates for entry into the register of creditors are such corporations as Force Distribution, Marvel CT, Force Development Center and Alfa-Bank. The total amount of debt on claims previously settled by arbitration against these organizations exceeds 870 million rubles.

Recall that the North American corporation Oracle, whose main office is located in Texas, is the world's largest manufacturer of software products. In Russia, the company was a supplier of software for customer service, management of companies and their assets. In March 2022, the organization announced its withdrawal from the Russian Federation.
