ONE OF LUKOIL'S MAIN CONTRACTORS IS ON THE VERGE OF BANKRUPTCY

The Federal Tax Service (FTS), as well as the companies "Top-Alliance", "Promspetsstroy", "EnergoProgress" and 4 other creditors intend to file for bankruptcy of PJSC "AK Vostokneftezavodmontazh" (VNZM). Previously, the joint-stock company was a major contractor of Lukoil and Bashneft.

It is noteworthy that only one of the creditors indicated the amount of debt claims. We are talking about EnergoProgress LLC, which stated that Vostokneftezavodmontazh owed him more than 2.2 million rubles.

PJSC "AK Vostokneftezavodmontazh" is a large contractor construction and installation company providing services in the field of construction of oil and gas facilities. According to the rating of oil and gas construction companies (Moscow), VNZM was recognized as the best builder of oil and gas processing facilities in Russia in 2015, 2016, 2018.

However, due to conflicts with customers and officials, VNZM lost contracts and ended 2021 with a loss of 2.4 billion rubles, and also received bankruptcy applications.
