NATURA SIBERICA’S STORES AND MANUFACTURING UNITS SUSPENDED ACTIVITIES
The production and sale of Natura Siberica products has been temporarily suspended. This happened due to the termination of the license agreement with the owner of some of the brands. The situation unfolded against the backdrop of a hereditary conflict that arose this spring after the death of the brand's creator Andrei Trubnikov.
Trubnikov's first wife, who owns a part of the business, terminated the agreement by her own decision, which made it impossible to further use the trademarks. The incumbent president of the company Sergey Builov, commenting on the situation, indicated that these actions blocked work, led to colossal losses and ultimately coy destroy the business, reports
RBC.
According to Builov, last year, some of the trademarks were exported abroad, and this ‘set the time bomb’, which has exploded now.
At the moment, 8 dozen stores of the chain have suspended work and, according to Builov, this situation will persist until the situation is clarified.
It should be added that problems with a part of the company's brands arose a year ago, when trademarks were arrested by an arbitration court within the framework of the suit of En + Recycling LLC. The claim was connected with a fire that occurred at one of the plaintiff's enterprises, the blame was laid on the employees of Trubnikov's company.
