IT WAS DECIDED TO LIQUIDATE THE FRENCH BUYER OF AVTOVAZ

AvtoVAZ has completely ceased cooperation with APO Rus. The organization itself has started to self-destruct. Previously, the company was engaged in the procurement of materials for the assembly of Renault, Nissan and Lada cars. At the same time, the share of AvtoVAZ models in the structure of the company's work was about 70% of the total volume of purchased products.

According to one of the directors of AvtoVAZ, Sergey Ilyinsky, a significant part of the employees of APO Rus (about 90%) have already moved to work at the enterprise, in the structure of which their own procurement service has been formed. The question remains open as to how many hundreds of employees engaged in the purchase of imported auto parts will be able to fit into the work of AvtoVAZ in the new conditions.

The main beneficiary of "APO Rus" (full name "Alliance Purchasing Organization Rus") The French company Alliance Purchasing Organization performed. She owns 99% of the company's capital. Another 1% remained with Renault Group B.V.. In 2021, the company finished with revenue of more than 1 billion rubles, receiving almost 3 million rubles of net profit.

French managers who managed the purchase of automotive components for AvtoVAZ created a number of problems for the management of the Russian company.

Prices for imported spare parts and aggregates for cars were constantly growing, increasing the cost of LADA cars. Since 2021, constant interruptions in the supply of components have been added to this. The conveyor stopped periodically, and by April 2022 it completely froze.

The new owner of AvtoVAZ, which became the NAMI State Scientific Center (SSC RF FSUE NAMI), decided to refuse to work with APO Rus. The conveyor was launched, and relations with the "daughter" of the French company did not continue, although the contract was still formally valid until mid-August. Under these conditions, it became impractical for the former buyer to continue working.

The decision on self-liquidation in the organization was made on August 17. Murat Kugotov became the liquidator. A few days later, a statement about this was received by the tax authorities. A couple of days later, the counterparties also found out about it. Of the 417 employees who worked on the staff of APO Rus at the end of 2021, 294 people remained. Tolyatti authorities promise to help all of them with employment in one of the industrial companies of the city.
