IN VOLGOGRAD, THE TRADING NETWORK "MAN" WAS CLOSED WITH A SCANDAL
The Volgograd chain of stores that stopped working did not have time to dismiss some of the employees. Someone, according to sources, voluntarily wrote a letter of resignation after the company announced the closure. Others refused to do this, having received payroll sheets instead of money, which no one plans to pay. At the same time, the Lucky company itself, which managed the retail chain, filed a bankruptcy lawsuit with the capital arbitration in May 2022.

The MAN network has been operating in Volgograd since the 2000s. The largest store of the chain was "SuperMAN", opened in the premises of the Central Market. In 2017, the company announced plans to reduce outlets with low traffic. It seemed unprofitable for the owners of the network to keep them, since the costs were greater than the profit.

By the beginning of 2022, the company had 641 employees. The main beneficiary of the company as of 2021 was Andrey Grechin, who owns 71.56% of the company's authorized capital. It is known that Grechin is also the founder of several Moscow firms working with databases and various information technologies.

According to Volgograd media, the company has long ceased to settle accounts with counterparties.

A number of debts that suppliers are unsuccessfully trying to recover from the MAN network date back to 2017. In general, the court file has several dozen cases in which the company acts as a defendant.

The main store of the chain in Volgograd stopped working a few months ago, on May 21, 2022. Prior to that, CBM "Central Market" announced plans to hold auctions in order to conclude a lease agreement with a new entrepreneur. It was about several thousand square meters of space, including retail and warehouse premises.

The bidding itself did not take place. The only participant was Chechen businessman Shamil Abayev. It is assumed that he will sell consumer goods on the site of the deserted "Superman".

At the same time, the fate of several dozen employees, whom the management of MANA has not legally dismissed, remains a big question.

There will be no one to charge them legitimate payments for the period of forced downtime. The management warned that on August 11, 2022, all responsible persons in the company, including the CEO, the head of the HR department and the accountant, will stop working.
