HYUNDAI CABIN AIR FILTERS SUPPLIER HAS LAUNCHED BANKRUPTCY PROCEEDINGS

The day before, the commercial court introduced a monitoring procedure in relation to Rollman Group of Companies PJSC. The would-be debtor’s company is located in the northern capital and unites several companies in different parts of the country that are engaged in the production of filters, auto chemicals and wood processing.

One of the largest enterprises of the company is Nevsky Filter, which is a supplier of cabin air filters for Hyundai.

For several years in a row, Rollman has had to withstand blows to its business from different sides.

Three years ago, the Central Bank identified the fact of manipulations with securities, which provoked the withdrawal of some investors from the company.

A year later, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations closed the Slon hypermarket in the Leningrad Region, which belonged to Rollman Group. The building did not meet the fire safety requirements, and the identified violations were not eliminated. As a result, the premises in the hypermarket had to be sold at a significantly lower price, and all the proceeds were spent to pay off the debt to the bank.

This year, Rollman tried to work on the protective masks production market, however, this initiative was not uccessful and did not bring much profit.

Despite all the difficulties, including the bankruptcy case, the management of the company is confident that all these difficulties are temporary and the company will eventually get out of them.

At the moment, the amount of the company's debt to creditors recognized by the court is 1.4 million rubles, but, judging by the number of claims against the company, the amount of claims will only grow.
