HOCKEY CLUB IN KOMI SENTENCED TO BANKRUPTCY
At the end of May 2022, the arbitration received an appeal from the hockey club "Builder" with a request to declare it insolvent. The amount of debt indicated in the claim amounted to 2,967 million rubles. However, the applicant did not attach copies of contracts and title documents, so the claim was left without movement for a month.

In June, the shortcomings were corrected. The organization submitted to the court all contracts with creditors and extracts from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. In particular, information was confirmed that on June 6, the club formed a liquidation commission. As a result, on July 1, the Komi arbitration began the insolvency case, setting the date of the first hearing for August 23, 2022.

The sports club emerged in 2015 in the form of an autonomous NGO (ANO). Its founder was Konstantin Agafonov. He also took the post of president of the club. However, in 2016, the authorities legally prohibited allocating funds from the treasury to support the work of the organization.

As a result, the club began to be supported by sponsors' money.

Sources cite insufficient funds from sponsors over the past few years as the main reason for the club's bankruptcy. It was on sponsorship receipts, in particular, that the players' salaries were paid.

The republican authorities decided that the region still needs a sports organization. For this purpose, in June of this year, a new organization was established, called "Builder-Syktyvkar". It was established by the Republican Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports. Thus, a legal opportunity was opened to finance hockey players from the Komi budget.

The Arbitration Court has already made the necessary requests to the tax authorities, Rosreestr, traffic police and the bailiff service.

All transactions of the club over the past three years, data on the availability of settlement accounts and accounting, property registered with the organization, including vehicles, must be made available to the court. The capital CAAU ("Central Agency of Arbitration Managers") will deal with the insolvency of hockey players.
