GRADUATES OF THE BANKRUPT URAL UNIVERSITY FOUND THEMSELVES WITHOUT DIPLOMAS
The bankruptcy of the Ural Institute of Finance and Law (UrFUI), which happened a few years ago, turned out to be painful for some graduates of the university. The problem arose with the confirmation of some diplomas issued by the organization in previous years.

According to the publication E1.RU , one of the graduates of the university, who graduated in 2010, applied to the Ministry of Education in order to put an apostille. However, the ministry refused to do this, since the archives of the bankrupt organization were not transferred to officials in the Federal Register, and the organization itself was declared bankrupt. Other graduates faced the same problem.

Some tried to apply for confirmation of diplomas at the place of study. The financial and legal college headed by the former rector of the university, Vladimir Nazarov, turned out to be in place of the UrFUI. However, the college (UrFUrK Private Private Educational Institution), located in the same building where the institute used to be, reported that they were not related to the bankrupt organization and recommended sending requests to the bankruptcy trustee Olga Ruschitskaya, who was engaged in bankruptcy.

Rushitskaya was approached with questions by journalists of a local publication. She said that she could not issue relevant certificates to students, as she had not received them from the rector of the institute. It is also not known exactly where the archive with the documents is located. As a result, students were advised to go to court to establish the legal facts in court.

The appeal to the former president of the URFU, Angelika Vinogradova, who held this position in 1995-2012, also did not help the graduates. She said that her ex–husband, Rector Nazarov, was responsible for the diplomas, and recommended that former students deal with him through the court.

In September 2020, Rubankrot wrote about the scandalous bankruptcy of URFUYA. The university, deprived of accreditation in 2016, was declared insolvent in 2019. At the same time, the divorce of former rector Vladimir Nazarov and his wife Angelika Vinogradova forced the bankruptcy trustee to sell the assets of the organization (first of all, a seven–story building in the city center) separately.

Nazarov himself turned out to be the founder of two organizations at once. Moreover, the first (UrFUI) in September 2019 initiated the bankruptcy of the second (UGTI) in the amount of more than 280 million rubles. Both universities were registered at the same address. At the same time, the bankruptcy trustee of UrFUI became interested in a deal for 305 million rubles concluded between universities. There were grounds to consider bankruptcy intentional.
