The Zvezda-Energetika company switched to the monitoring procedure by the decision of the arbitration court. The firm has been experiencing financial difficulties for several years. Attempts to declare her bankrupt were made by 26 different organizations, including banks. By the time of the court decision, the company's transport and settlement accounts were under arrest by bailiffs.
The case file reports that the total amount of 139 enforcement proceedings under the regional management of the FSSP is 1.4 billion rubles. At the same time, the company has been insolvent for more than three months.
The company was founded in 2001 and produced power plants (diesel and gas piston), stations based on gas turbines. The recipients of the company's products were such giants as Transneft and Gazprom.
The assembly plant was opened by the company in 2016. The Kirov Plant became the base for it. However, every year the company began to deteriorate its economic performance. The company's revenue in the period from 2017 to 2019 decreased several times, from 6.2 billion to 1.2 billion rubles. In 2021, it was less than 68 million. At the same time, loans increased to 1.5 billion rubles.
The company owes more than 3 billion rubles to Bank Rossiya. The company has another large debt to AK Bars Bank. The company acted as a guarantor under the loan agreement that the bank concluded with the Samara Bearing Plant. The plant could not pay off the loan and Zvezda-Energetika owed 630 million rubles.
Information about the beneficiaries of the company is still unknown. Earlier, a number of publications called Alexander Shvidak and Vadim Egiazarov, who were members of the company's board of directors, major shareholders of the company. At the moment, both of them are officially considered bankrupt.
Now experts are wondering how the bankruptcy process of the company may affect the state of the power engineering market. The fact is that Zvezda-Energetika owns 39% of the capital of another company producing units for diesel generators, LLC Zvezda–Energokompleks. Its main beneficiary is Sinara – Transport Machines (61%). The fate of such a partnership may be in a risky situation if it comes to bankruptcy proceedings.
