On August 25, 2023, the Arbitration Court of Tatarstan issued a decision on the insolvency case of Kirill Doronin (case no. A65-33155/2022). The property of one of the founders of the financial pyramid will be sold to pay off the debt to creditors.
The bankruptcy of the entrepreneur was initiated by the capital firm Venta, putting forward a claim for more than 100 million. In April, the court agreed with the validity of the claim and introduced the restructuring of Doronin's debts. At the same time, the person involved in the bankruptcy case does not abandon attempts to appeal his bankruptcy.
In June, Rusbankrot reported on complaints filed by Doronin to the appellate instance. He filed the first one back in May, but the court did not give her a move. Subsequently, the complaint was nevertheless accepted for production. After that, another petition was received from Doronin, in which he referred to Article 161 of the APC of the Russian Federation.
Doronin is the only one of the founders of Finiko who continues to be in jail as an accused. However, he considers the claims of Venta to be unfounded. In his opinion, the plaintiff falsified the documents that formed the basis of the process. At the same time, the court recognized the evidence as authentic. Recall that the company demanded Doronin to return the loan amount, interest and penalties under the contract.
Now the court has ordered Doronin to hand over to his financial manager all the bank cards he has. He was also charged a state duty (6 thousand). A review of the manager's report on the bankruptcy procedure is scheduled for January 2024. However, Doronin is not the only one of the organizers of the "financial pyramid", against whom the procedure for the sale of property was initiated.
On August 16, the AC of Tatarstan made a similar decision regarding Marat Sabirov (case no. A65-30169/2022). His debt to creditors is 89.87 million. At the same time, Sabirov himself is presumably located outside the Russian Federation. Two other co–founders of Finiko, Edward Sabirov and Zygmunt Zygmuntovich, also went on the run.
