FAMOUS GERMAN FOOTBALL CLUB IS GOING BANKRUPT

On 15 June, it became known that one of the German football clubs is going to file for bankruptcy in the nearest future.

We are talking about Kaiserslautern club from the third division. The debt of the club is estimated at 24 million euros, a quarter of which has been accumulated over the current year. To continue its activities, the club needs to have a license and a budget of 15 million Euro.

Unfortunately, the creditors did not make a concession, and therefore, due to the difficult economic situation, Kaiserslautern is forced to file for bankruptcy next week.

Among the achievements of the German club, there are the victories in the most important championships of the country over the years, and in 1990 and 1996, the club was awarded the German Cup. Kaiserslautern was expelled from the Bundesliga in 2012, and in 2018 lost its place in the table again. In the season 2019/2020, which was completed in the third league of Germany ahead of schedule, Kaiserslautern was in the 12th place.

We should note that despite the fact that the club is not able to pay the bills, the entire coaching staff and players receive the salaries.
