The Voronezh Arbitration Court has introduced a debt restructuring procedure for entrepreneur Roman Kubanev. The initiator of the businessman's bankruptcy was the pharmaceutical distributor FC Grand Capital Voronezh. Kubanev's obligations to the organization in the amount of 4.5 million were included in the third stage of debt to creditors.

In November 2022, Rusbankrot already addressed the situation related to Kubanev's bankruptcy. It was then that the entrepreneur's insolvency claim was filed in court. It is curious that the basis for the initiation of the case (No. A14-19264/22) was the collection of debts by the decision of the arbitration court ad hoc. Subsequently, his enforcement was confirmed by a writ of execution in the Ostankino District Court of the capital.

Last year, Kubanev sold his pharmaceutical business to a former competitor from the Tula region. On November 18, 2022, the bankruptcy claim of Farmia was submitted to arbitration from the distributor Magnit Pharma. It was noted that the company has serious debts to Sberbank and several counterparties. The total amount of debt at that time was about 120 million.

At the beginning of this month, the arbitration introduced a monitoring procedure in the company "Pharmia". At the same time, the bankruptcy initiatives of other structures of the pharmaceutical group (Visit-Pharm, Medinvest Group) had also previously been submitted to the court. Kubanev's main creditors in the current case may be the three largest distributors of medicines in Russia – Katren and Pulse and Grand Capital.

According to Kommersant, the basic basis for the bankruptcy of an entrepreneur as an individual is also the fact that Kubanev acted as a guarantor for the debts of one of the firms sold by the autumn of 2022. It is planned that debt restructuring may be completed by the autumn. The hearing on the case is scheduled for October 9, 2022. The report of the financial manager Denis Ivanov will be heard at it.
