Alexey Khersontsev, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economic Development, told about the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation not to take any decisions on extending the moratorium on bankruptcy in the near future. According to him, it is necessary that all procedures in the sphere return to their previous state.

«The institution of the bankruptcy moratorium played a positive role in its time, at the start. But now we proceed from the fact that economic relations should normalize and move to the initial state in terms of profit» , Khersontsev is quoted as saying by Interfax.

The moratorium on bankruptcy ended on October 2. Immediately after its completion, the first notice of the creditor's intention to file an application for recognition of the debtor as insolvent was filed. The notification was posted just a minute after midnight.

In total, by the end of October 2, the Unified Federal Register of Bankruptcy Information was replenished with 454 notifications of intent to file a bankruptcy claim.
