DAIRY PLANT OF ‘BASHMILK’ HOLDING WILL BE DECLARED BANKRUPT
DAIRY PLANT OF ‘BASHMILK’ HOLDING WILL BE DECLARED BANKRUPT
The creditors of the Chekmagushevsky Dairy Plant, which was a part of the Bashmilk agricultural holding, made a decision to declare the company bankrupt. Voting took place at the very first meeting organized by the bankruptcy trustee Alexander Larkin. Its participants considered that it would be inappropriate to take part in financial recovery or introduce external management, and there was no amicable agreement either. The relevant information is published on the Fedresurs website.
It should be noted that the company began to go bankrupt last year. The initiator of the process was the Pobeda company, and among other creditors, there were large commercial banks (Sberbank and Rosselkhozbank). In August, the court made a decision to start the observation procedure.
The holding, which included a dairy plant, stopped its work two years ago, owing about a billion rubles.
In November 2019, Rusbankrot wrote about hard times for the dairy industry in Bashkiria. Then many production companies, including those that were previously part of agricultural hodling, literally ‘fell down’.
It is known that Sberbank sent financial claims not only to Bashmilk structures, but also to its beneficiary Alexander Nikitin. In addition to criminal cases on charges of fraud, non-payment of salaries to employees and tax evasion, which are being dealt with by the law enforcement agencies, the owner of the agricultural holding also turned out to be a defendant in the case for the obligations of the companies. The debt restructuring procedure for Nikitin has already begun.
Bashmilk emerged from bankruptcy, as it turned out that in fact, it had no assets that could be used to pay the debts to creditors.
The only thing that was discovered in the process of legal proceedings was the accounts receivable of the ‘Sabinsky Dairy Plant’ which also went bankrupt.
‘Chekmagushevsky dairy plant’ was known in the republic thanks to the ‘Krai kurai’ trade mark, under which the company's products were produced. The plant is located in the village of Vavilovo in the Ufa region. Now, apparently, the company is waiting for a court decision and bankruptcy proceedings. It was decided to organize meetings of creditors in the office of Rosselkhozbank in Ufa.
