In Tatarstan, the former head of the fuel and energy complex "Scorpion-Logistics" was charged with a crime under Article 196 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The materials on the criminal case were prepared by the Republican Prosecutor's Office for transfer to the Naberezhnye Chelny City Court.

The investigation believes that the head of the organization issued the company's property to a controlled legal entity. Thus, the expedition company, which he led, went bankrupt with debts of 43 million.

The events in question occurred in 2014-2015. Now the 53-year-old man could face a prison sentence if his guilt is proven in court.

It is known that the organization itself was registered in neighboring Yelabuga (the city is located several dozen kilometers from Naberezhnye Chelny). The organization was engaged in transportation and worked in several related areas.

The Prosecutor's Office of Tatarstan reports that the accused refused to admit guilt. At the moment, he was taken on his own recognizance not to leave. The city court should consider the circumstances of the case in the near future.
