BABINSKY SAUSAGES ARE MOVING TOWARDS BANKRUPTCY
The meat processing plant from Udmurtia "Babinsky sausages" risks becoming insolvent after the sudden death of its owner in early 2023. Information about this was shared by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Olga Abramova. She told the media that now the heirs are engaged in registration of ownership rights to shares in the business.

Earlier, Rusbankrot has already covered the situation with the lawsuits that Alfa-Bank filed against two organizations of the late Dmitry Gulyashinov. The application was submitted to arbitration on September 11, 2023.

Both applications of the credit institution were accepted by the court for consideration. The Bank demands more than 7.5 million rubles from Babinsky Sausages (case no. A71-15541/2023). A similar amount is stated in the requirements to the company "Babino-Bis", which acted as a guarantor under the loan agreement (case no. A71-15540/2023). Hearings on the bank's statements in court are scheduled for November 1 and 22, 2023.

At the end of September 2023, the Moscow Arbitration Court (the Arbitration Court of the City of Moscow) collected a debt in the amount of 12,356,407.59 rubles from Babino-Bis (case no. A40-160244). The initiator of the process was Alfa-Bank. The basis was a loan agreement that the Udmurt manufacturer concluded with the bank in October 2020. The company acted as a guarantor for the main transaction with the company "Babinsky sausages".

Regional officials continue to hope that enterprises will be able to restore their solvency. Whether the firms will be declared insolvent at the same time depends on whether the current director will be able to negotiate with the bank and other creditors. Currently, the company is headed by Alexander Kondratiev, who previously participated in the bankruptcy of several Udmurt enterprises in the status of an arbitration manager.
