A TRADING HOUSE WITH A TURNOVER OF MORE THAN 8 BILLION IS THREATENED WITH BANKRUPTCY
On October 11, 2023, the Tambov Arbitration recognized the bankruptcy application filed by Bank Rossiya in February as justified. By a court ruling, the Transservice trading house (TD) was placed under surveillance (case no. A64-1759/2023). The Arbitration Court assigned Roman Malanin, representing the Association of Leading Arbitration Managers (WOW) "Dostoyanie", to perform the functions of the interim manager.

The defendant, working in the Tambov region as an independent oil trader, has accumulated large amounts of debt to credit institutions. The initiator of the bankruptcy, who previously lent to the trading house, demands 91.8 million rubles from the defendant.

The company selling fuel was established in the city of Kotovsk in 2010. Its main beneficiary and CEO is Pavel Korchagin. He owns 81.25% of the shares. The co-owners of the entrepreneur are Daria, Raisa, Sergey Osmolovsky. Each of them owns 6.5% of the shares. Several other Tambov firms work under the control of Osmolovsky and Korchagin.

According to Kommersant, the debt of Transservice to Bank Rossiya and other creditors reaches 800 million rubles. At the same time, the annual turnover of the company is over 8 billion.

Other market participants also have claims against the company. Litigation with TD Transservice in 2023 is being conducted by Sberbank, demanding more than 83 million from the defendant in several claims. The Arbitration Court in Tatarstan is considering a claim for 10.9 million rubles, which the Bank of Kazan demands from the oil trader. At the same time, both credit institutions have not yet entered the bankruptcy process.

The "daughter" of J&T Bank applied for participation in the case at the end of August 2023. The Russian structure of the Czech bank (J&T Bank JSC) demanded 123 569 167.67 rubles from the organization.

The financial problems of the organization were not spared by the head of the trading house Pavel Korchagin. He is suspected of committing a tax crime (paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 199 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Investigators believe that the head of the company indicated in the reports for several years data that do not correspond to reality. This led to the fact that the company underpaid the treasury about 323 million rubles.

Currently, the company's operating activities have been suspended due to claims from the Federal Tax Service. The company itself continues to work, but making transactions and payments in the current conditions may be difficult. Last year, the firm received revenue of 4.9 billion. This is 1.7 times less than the data for 2021. The profit of the organization decreased to 30.8 million (previously it amounted to 61.9 million).
