A RESIDENT OF KUBAN WITHDREW 70 MILLION RUBLES AND INTENTIONALLY DROVE AN ENTERPRISE TO BANKRUPTCY
A resident of the Tikhoretsk District will soon become a defendant in a deliberate bankruptcy case (Article 196 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The prosecutor's office of the Kuban has already sent the case materials to the court. The property of the citizen has been put under arrest, as it may be necessary to compensate for the damage. A man can spend the next six years in prison, if such a decision is made by the court.
According to the investigators, over three years (from April 2012 to March 2015), the citizen managed to withdraw various amounts from the budget of the ‘One Hundred Pounds’ company under fictitious contracts. As a result, the man received about 70 million rubles, which he spent on his own needs.
During this period, the company was ‘suffocating’ under the burden of loans, which led it to the ruin.
The company, founded in 2010, was engaged in the cultivation of agricultural crops (grain, legumes, etc.). Its manager and founder until the moment of bankruptcy was Dmitry Stupko.
In 2015, the company was declared insolvent, and in September last year, it was liquidated. Now, the law enforcement agencies may try to recover some assets from a citizen so that the organization's creditors can get them to receive compensations for the damage. The citizen himself is currently under recognizance not to leave.
