A monitoring procedure has been introduced for the Tomsk beer factory
Tomsk Arbitration (AS TO), on the initiative of the tax service, introduced a monitoring procedure in the Siberian Beer Company (CJSC). The insolvency case concerns an enterprise located in Asino and is associated with a large debt to the budget. The amount of debt owed to the tax authority has already been fixed at 46.7 million rubles.

Vladislav Romashkin, representing the Sirius Association, was approved for the role of interim manager. The next court hearing is scheduled for October. The purpose of the monitoring is to establish the financial situation of the company and find out whether its rehabilitation is possible or whether it should go into receivership.

The financial problems of Siberian Beer have worsened against the background of criminal prosecution. Last year, investigators (SU TFR in the Tomsk region) opened a case on a tax offense worth 33 million rubles. According to the investigation, the plant's management acted as an organized group. Top management hid the real quantity of the plant's manufactured and sold products. According to the investigation, these data were intentionally not reflected in accounting documents, which led to non-payment of taxes and excise taxes.

The history of the plant spans three decades. The company was founded in 1994. The factory specialized in the production of various beers, using the brand "Old Town Hall". With the design capacity to produce 960 tons of products annually, the company demonstrated the highest financial performance in 2019. Then its revenue exceeded 81 million. But by 2022, sales volumes had significantly decreased. The annual revenue was only 14 million. Over the past two years, revenue data has not been disclosed at all.

Financial difficulties also affected the financial situation of the company. Earlier, the factory building in Asin, with a total area of 234 square meters, was arrested by bailiffs. They tried to sell it at auction for 7.5 million. But there were no buyers for the lot. At the same time, there is no official information about exactly when production stopped, either in the company's documents or in open sources.

The judicial supervision procedure is the first stage of bankruptcy, during which the debtor's real condition is checked, financial flows and assets are analyzed. The results of this stage will be key to determining the future fate of the plant. Possible scenarios include both the recovery of the business with the involvement of an investor, and the start of bankruptcy proceedings with the subsequent sale of property to repay debts.
