SUDANESE PLANE MADE EMERGENCY LANDING AFTER A CAT HIJACKS COCKPIT
The day before, the airport of Sudan accepted for landing the plane that had earlier taken off from there. The reason for such measures was the difficulties that arose with the cat on board.
About half an hour after takeoff, an aggressive animal appeared in the cockpit. It not only interfered with the control of the aircraft, but also made attempts to attack the captain.
The incident was reported by the local newspaper Al-Sudani, citing a source among the crew.
As a result of the confrontation with the animal, it was decided to land at the airport of departure. According to preliminary data, the cat could get into the cabin during the preparation of the aircraft, during cleaning or maintenance.
The emergency board is owned by the Sudanese airline Tarco and was supposed to make a flight from Khartoum to Doha. The forced landing was successful, and the further fate of the aggressive cat is still unknown.
However, the incidents with cats on the plane do not end there. In mid-February of this year, FAN reported that an animal was locked in the cockpit for two weeks. During this time, the cat ruined the upholstery, using it as a scratching post, while the animal itself did not suffer. The aircraft is owned by an Israeli airline.
