RUSSIAN PENSIONERS DEMAND LIQUIDATION OF THE PENSION FUND OF RUSSIA

RUSSIAN PENSIONERS DEMAND LIQUIDATION OF THE PENSION FUND OF RUSSIA
An application demanding the liquidation of the Pension Fund of Russia appeared on the official website of the Pensioners of Russia party. According to the authors of the text of application, the work of the organization is beneficial only to its management, but not to the users.

Party representatives declared the absolute uselessness of the Pension Fund, since the funded part of the pension has not existed since 2014. The activists noted that after numerous bankruptcies of non-state pension funds, the funded part was frozen - all funds go only to pay insurance pensions. Now potential retirees are entitled to only a minimum guaranteed profit, and funds (earned, in particular, from investments) go to financiers.

At the same time, more than 4 trillion rubles accumulated by residents of the Russian Federation until 2014 are managed by the Pension Fund and non-state institutions.

Pensioners of Russia accuse the Pension Fund of taking money away from future pensioners by means of using numerous schemes.

The party believes that the Pension Fund is acting wastefully (keeping more than 100 thousand employees and building "palaces") only for its own benefit, but not for the sake of improving the welfare of pensioners. Therefore, the activists called for the liquidation of the organization so that the payments could be paid directly from the federal budget.

The representatives of the Party of Pensioners believe that the Pension Fund should follow the example of other countries, where similar organizations manage the savings and send proceeds to the payments.
