Austria tightened restrictions due to the pandemic - from April 7, residents of Vienna and the two eastern regions of the country will not be able to visit stores without confirming the absence of coronavirus. However, it will be possible to buy essential goods without tests.
The new restrictions were announced by the head of the Austrian Ministry of Health Rudolf Anschober - tightening of measures is necessary to prevent an overload of the medical system. If Austrians want to visit stores that do not sell essential goods, they will definitely need to take a negative Covid-19 test with them, otherwise they will not be allowed into the premises.
