A LAWSUIT WAS FILED AGAINST A MOSCOW DEVELOPER FOR 55.6 MILLION
The Moscow company Promontazh, specializing in the maintenance of vertical transport systems, filed a lawsuit against Mosotdelstroy No. 1 on May 13, 2024. The amount of claims exceeds 55.66 million rubles. The application itself has not yet been accepted by the court for consideration (case no. A40-46890/2024).

The defendant is a well–known developer. The history of the organization began back in 1937. In the early 2000s, the company was close to ruin, but the capital's officials decided to save the company by paying off the debts accumulated earlier.

The company is known for completing the construction of problematic long-term buildings. One of these facilities was the Tsaritsyno residential complex, the construction of which started back in 2006. The company also produces works in the east of the capital (Terletsky Park residential complex) and in New Moscow (Marushkino residential complex).

The plaintiff, apparently, worked at the Tsaritsyno residential complex, installing passenger elevators. According to the file of arbitration cases, the Promontazh company's lawsuit filed recently against the developer is not the only one in the history of the plaintiff's relationship with the customer.

On March 6, 2024, the company has already applied to arbitration with a claim against Mosotdelstroy No. 1 (case No. A40-46890/2024). The amount of claims then amounted to 28,098,638.97 rubles. The basis was the guarantee of existing transactions and accrued interest (Article 395 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation). The next hearing of the case is scheduled to take place on May 17, 2024.
