BANKS ARE WAITING FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE LIMIT ON IT MORTGAGES

Credit institutions are waiting for the extension of the limit on IT mortgages. Vedomosti writes about this with reference to representatives of a number of major Russian banks, including Sberbank, VTB and others.

At the moment, due to the exhaustion of the limit, Sberbank, MTS Bank, Bank St. Petersburg have suspended the issuance of mortgages and the collection of applications. VTB has not completely stopped working in this direction, but has reduced the volume of issuance.

The day before, the Ministry of Finance announced its support for increasing the limits on IT mortgages so that the program would not stop. At the moment, as specified in the department, DOM.RF ensures that the remaining limits are redistributed to those credit institutions that have run out of them. This amount is approximately 39 billion rubles.

In addition, the Ministry of Finance has prepared a draft Government decree by colleagues from the Ministry of Finance to increase the limits on IT mortgages.
