COLLECTORS WILL BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH DEBTORS THROUGH PUBLIC SERVICES
Collectors will have the opportunity to communicate with debtors through Public Services. The relevant amendments to the law will take effect on February 1, 2024.
In addition, the law, which comes into force next month, allows the parties to meet, communicate by phone or via e-mail. The conditions of communication are also prescribed: threats, psychological pressure and any aggression are prohibited.
It is worth noting that the time of communication between collectors and citizens is limited. It is forbidden to disturb the debtor in the evening and at night. Frequent meetings and phone conversations are also limited, even at the allowed time.
Collectors who violate the rules of communication face a fine.
